Safeway Safety Step, LLC manufactures a bathtub product that is marketed as the Safeway Step®. The Safeway Step® is a product and installation method designed to provide seniors and individuals with disabilities easier access into the bathtub area.
Safeway Safety Step, LLC is also a Master Distributor for Wingits® grab bars and accessories.
Safeway Step® can trace its origins to the vision and entrepreneurial spirit of its founder, Don Stafford. A 37-year retired veteran of the City of Cincinnati Fire Department, Mr. Stafford identified the need for a product to assist a growing segment of our society to more easily enter and exit the bathtub area.
Mr. Stafford applied for and was successfully awarded a patent for his design and installation process for his revolutionary product. The Safeway Step® aids the senior, disabled individual and/or caregiver by removing their biggest barrier and providing easier access in the tub area.
