The Safeway Tub Door™ is a product and installation method designed to provide seniors and individuals with disabilities easier access into the bathtub area. Installation of the Tub Door includes cutting out a section of the existing tub and custom fitting the resulting opening with a Safeway Tub Door™. The Safeway Tub Door™ adds a water-tight door to your existing bathtub. The door utilizes sealing system comprised of magnetic strips and a compression latch to prevent leaks.

Prices vary depending on the type of tub and local market conditions.

Installation of the Safeway Step® typically costs under $1,000. Installation of the Safeway Tub Door is a bit more complicated and typically costs lessthan $1,750.  Compared to other alternatives, both the Safeway Step® and Safeway Tub Door are a fraction of the cost.

The Safeway Step® and Safeway Tub Door can be installed in any type of tub - fiberglass, steel and even cast iron!

The only limitations would be a garden or claw foot tub.

The Safeway Step® and Safeway Tub Door can typically be installed in less than a day.
